Company Transformation

We can help by defining a transformation roadmap that sets out the path to achieve new strategic goals that can be used to communicate wuth stakeholders and gain their agreement and support. Following this we can provide detailed strategic plans that define specific and practical changes needed to fulfill the transformation vision; this can be considered to be the ‘agenda for change’. Finally we can help by defining, preparing and enabling a supporting transformation programme structure, team and processes: the ‘engine of change’. M&A Support

Inorganic growth opportunities present themselves in a cyclical pattern, for example as a result of disruptive technology or as a wave of industry consolidation follows a wave of liberalization. The hazards of M&A are well documented; envisaged synergies can be elusive in practice and planned cost savings often fail to materialize. The telco sector is not immune from these risks, yet a number of successes have been seen in the last two decades. BT has accumulated experience from over 20 successful M&A activities (plus many more that were begun but not completed), initially focused on telco operators but more recently looking at IT companies to complement our ICT growth strategy.
